Hi there! I'm Amy and for the past 14 years I have been telling my client's stories through portraits.
When I had my own children my perspective on how I photograph portraits changed. I realized I wanted to see my kids' personalities. I didn’t care about the “perfect” photo anymore. I just wanted to see them.
My favourite photos are the ones that truly show who your child really is, the ones that have genuine emotion. My goal at every session is to do just that, document who they are at that moment.

documenting kids portraits since 2008
I specialize in photographing children with a candid approach. I love natural shots with genuine expression. What does that mean? Well, I have little tricks up my sleeve to help get your little one comfortable and relaxed so that they will show me a little bit of who they are. I just want them to have fun, let loose, be silly, and play.
Your session will take place at my studio in Newmarket, ON and is up to 30 min in length (I do my best to work quickly because most young children don't last too long). Once your session is complete we will schedule a separate appointment for you to come into the studio to view your portraits and choose the products you would like to purchase.
The session fee is $295 and includes the 30 min session, a $50 print credit and a reveal appointment where we will go through your portraits together, choose your favourites and place your order.
